Ivey Mechanical Company is a long-standing member of many professional and trade associations, ensuring that our co-workers are current on industry developments and innovations. Ivey's Plumbing and Electrical Company was founded in 1947 by Mr. KermitIveyinKosciusko, Mississippi. The small repair shop focused on residential and small commercial construction. The company continued on a steady growth pattern with annual sales that approached a half-million dollars by 1958. It was in this year that the founder's son, Marlin, joined the partnership with his father.

Properly designed and installed plumbing systems are critical to the health and safety of a building's occupants. Ivey Mechanical Company installs all types of plumbing systems, meeting the domestic water and sanitary services needs of the building as well as the other traditional building plumbing systems, including storm water removal, and natural gas piping. At Ivey Mechanical Company, we prefabricate many of the piping systems we install. Combined with fully integrated software programs and procedures, we are able to utilize cost control estimating, BIM and or 3D drafting, and prefabrication services to enhance the quality of our work and enable us to meet or exceed your construction schedule.

Our firm's Pre-Construction services are completed before we install a single pipe. These include estimating and budgeting, design and cost analysis, engineering services, and project delivery. We use computer-aided design to virtually build your mechanical systems. Our BIM Coordination Group employs a staff of ten in-house contractors and one layout coordinator. We use the latest in VIM software to design and fabricate detailed mechanical systems. Our fabrication shop, located in Kosciusko, MS, provides high-quality fabrication services.

The shop supports the construction activities of Ivey Mechanical by producing the component parts that make up our HVAC and plumbing systems. IMC Fabrication creates carbon steel and stainless steel pipes as well as welded and grooved pipe spools. We employ a team of 6 to 10 fabrication welders, and our shop is housed in a 2-bay, 24,000 SF facility with 3, 2-ton crane rail systems and 3.5 ton jib cranes. Roller beds are strategically placed for material and product handling.
