Knox Company, Inc. was established in 1914 under the name of Knox and Maier Company. In the beginning the company was involved in smaller metal fabrication and installation projects such as repairing roofs or making grate fronts, stovepipes and other custom applications. By 1924, J.J. Maier relinquished his partnership and the company name was changed to R.F. More than 100 years later, we still retain our founding principles and standards as high-quality metal contractors. R.F. Knox Company, Inc. is still owned and operated by the original Knox family.
