PG&E's Commercial HVAC Optimization Program offers generous incentives for enrolling in a single year air conditioning maintenance service agreement and installing optional unit retrofits. Customers who switch from a "service only when needed" plan to the Program can save up to $500*/year/unit+ in operating, servicing and repair costs. Even customers who operate with regular check-based' plan could save up to $260/year/unit+. The Program is designed for commercial rooftop units powered by electricity from PG&E.

COAC was founded in 1972 by Farrokh Cooper and Marvin "Buzz" Oates as Buzz Oates Air Conditioning to install and service commercial buildings primarily built by Buzz and his partners. Over the years we have expanded considerably to work with many of the leading commercial General Contractors, Building Owners, Property Managers and Tenants in the Central Valley and Greater Bay Area regions. On July 1, 2007, to celebrate our 35th year in business and to honor both co-founders, we changed our name to Cooper Oates Air Conditioning.
