What size A/C should we have. The rule of thumb is 400 square feet per ton, a 1200 square foot house should have at least a 3 ton unit. There are many variables that apply ie; size and location of windows, ceiling hights, number of plants all have a bearing on the size of the unit or units required. We offer manual J load calculation for new or existing homes. 2. Do I need a High Effency unit. The higher the effecincy or SEER rating the less it will cost to run. We can show you all the options so that you can make an informed decision.
