Very well. Prompt when arriving each day and we love the new surface.
The final result and professionalism from start to finish exceeded my expectations. Steve with Adams Tile and Plaster worked with me from initial bid, was on site every day through construction, and guided me through the critical but simple Pebble Tec pool start-up. I accepted his contract in April 2016 but wasn't able to start until February 2017 when no leaves or debris were falling. When I was ready to go, Steve started on my job within a few days. The job (retile and replaster with Pebble Sheen Irish Mist) took 4 days, Monday through Friday, with one rain day. Steve was on site every day for hours, his crew each day was experienced and diligent, and Steve or his crew chief answered my every question. Steve noticed some additional problems I had and corrected them also (experience is a plus here). By Friday night my pool was filled, the pump was running, and the job site was immaculate. (BTW, when I wrote Steve a check at completion, it was for exactly the amount we had agreed upon 10 months prior). Then the pool start-up process began. With Steve's daily advice over the phone, and my checking the pool water chemistry and following his advice re: pH and total alkalinity, then calcium hardness, etc., my chemistry was balanced after 7 days as expected. Stressless job for me, resulting in an excellent and gorgeous professional remodel with Adams Tile and Plaster. Thanks, Steve. Very professional, knowledgable and highly recommended! PS: Don't rely on millennial kids in the pool store for your pool water test. They don't take the time needed to do accurate testing and their results are consistent. Get a quality and easy-to-use pool test kit from TFTestkits.net and test your own water to avoid possibly major problems.
I contracted with them on December 3, 2016 to re-plaster my pool. Since then it has been one issue after another: 1) They offered a 5% discount if I waited until February. I did not want to wait so I elected not to take the discount. By the time it went through their system and it got on their schedule it was middle of February - At least they honored the discount. 2) A day before they scheduled to drain the pool, they called and said the plaster finish we picked was "discontinued." We called the manufacturer and it was not discontinued. What we found out was they were no longer a rep and could not install it. If they decided to no longer rep them, they should have waited to honor my contract. 3) Then they offered one of their "premium" finishes that would normally cost $3000 more. This was in middle February. They said "they had to return the sample and would get another one." Seems odd they don't have multiple samples of their product. It is now middle of March and they have not produced a sample and we should be close to done by now. They have not returned with my call or my wife's call for the last several days. I have been in the construction and development business for over 30 years on very large projects and a licensed GC and this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have not received a call from anyone in management or the owner to apologize or try to make it right. It seems the owner hides behind the sales person instead of calling me to make it right. The sales person has not been responsive. I would not recommend this company. I don't know how they can treat customers this way and stay in business. They have dropped the ball and haven't even started the job.
Very inconsiderate to neighbors of their customers! Loud fleet of trucks drove up 6:30am and a bunch of guys whistling and talking just a few feet from my window near the neighbor's driveway. One worker was looking in the window my husband's truck. They set their outhouse toilet up just 4 feet away from my dining room window when the neighbors have a huge lot. They upset my dogs and woke up everyone at our house. The work has been noisy and goes on and on. I will never know what their service is like but your neighbors will be angry with you for a long time if you use these loud inconsiderate guys.
