We spend the majority of our time indoors, and although it might not seem to be the case, the air within our homes and businesses tends to be polluted with various contaminants. In fact, studies conducted by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) have found that indoor air quality tends to be two to five times dirtier than the air outside. While we work diligently to seal our properties to get the best energy-efficiency from our heating and cooling systems, this has the detrimental effect of keeping the polluted air within our homes.

The term "geothermal" may seem a bit fancy and scientific, but it really just comes from two Greek terms. Have nothing but good things to say. Debbie was able to get someone to the house quickly and was empathetic to our situation. The heat had gone out and for some reason the kids were complaining they were cold in a house with no heat in the winter. :) At first we attempted to limp along our heat and Tom did everything he could to help us with that. Sadly our system was just to far gone. With a leak in the coil and a heater that refused to work combined with it being a 30 year old system it was time for a complete replacement. Douglas came out, gave us a quote, and said we can replace the whole thing this week. This brings out John and Frank. John and Frank were extremely professional and nice. They were on time, early even. They kept a clean work space and I am pretty sure the area was cleaner when they left than when they got here (inside and outside). They didn't leave until they made sure everything worked and made sure we knew how to work everything. It has been so nice to walk into a house with heat from the furnace and not patches of heat from space heaters. I can't wait for summer to really give the new a/c a try. Thank you again and I look forward to getting our ducts done in the future.

MJ has been servicing my equipment for years. There always on time and are respectful especially Doug.

What's new?

A great way to ensure your outdoor HVAC unit lasts is to keep it in the shade. An awning or well-placed tree could end up extending your system’s lifespan another year or two. #FactFriday

One sign that you have an air duct leak is excessive dust build-up. Your ducts often run through areas of your home that are rarely dusted and a leak can send it directly into your home. #FactFriday
