Charles S. Myers, founder of C.S. Myers Oil Company, was born in Beach Creek, PA in 1908, the first year of his life, his family moved to State College, PA. He was educated in the State College and Penn State school systems, and in the 1930's sold gasoline at a family owned retail service station. During the 1930's, 40's and 50's, Charlie sold and delivered coal and wood to the local community. C.S. Myers Oil Company was founded in 1946.
