We have progressed a long way from our beginning, in the shop started by our father in 1947. In those days it was common for repair facilities to do just about everything. General repair, body work, and cooling system repair just to name a few. Over all cooling system, air conditioning and radiator repair soon became his specialty! Although no longer with us today, his spirit still lives on with our commitment to quality product, excellent service and helpful knowledge. We have expanded, serving a five state area while keeping abreast of the latest in new technology.
First time here, and we're glad that we selected Canfield to service our air conditioning. Not only did they find the problem, but they also suggested a fix that saved us a lot of money and got our vehicle's AC working again. Friendly and professional from the initial call that I placed to schedule the work to picking up our vehicle and every interaction in-between. Thanks again!
Every time I have been there I've had nothing but great service from the front desk back to the mechanic doing the work thanks for the great job
My wife and I were visiting Erie from Annapolis two weekends ago. On the way into Erie on a Friday, our AC stopped working. The last thing I wanted was to have to drive back to Annapolis on Sunday with no AC.
While a car or truck primarily burns gasoline or diesel fuel, it does consume a little engine oil as well. As such, it’s important to check your engine’s dipstick regularly to ensure that your oil is always kept at sufficient levels.
If you’d rather not find yourself stuck on the side of the road, you’ll need to stay on top of your vehicle’s maintenance requirements. Ignoring them for extended periods puts you at risk of becoming stranded as your car or truck may become prone to failure.
A car or truck can represent a significant investment, so you’re going to want to get as much use out of them as you can. As such, you’re going to need to keep up with their maintenance requirements to ensure that the vehicle will be there to serve you for a long time to come.
One consequence of not caring for your vehicle is that they become more expensive to run. Fuel economy, for instance, may suffer greatly if your air filter is clogged or if your tires are out of alignment, so it’s important to make sure that maintenance is regularly done.
If your car or truck is scheduled for an undercarriage inspection, you’re going to want to ask the tech to check your brake system as well. Worn hoses or fitting leaks, in particular, should be noted and addressed to ensure that the brakes will not just suddenly fail.
