Bob McNamara received training in heating, air conditioning and refrigeration in the Navy from 1984-1988. After faithfully serving his country, he worked for local heating and cooling companies in the Rockland County region. Quickly he identified a gap in the services being provided to his friends and neighbors. In 1993, he decided to satisfy those needs. He started the family owned and operated McNamara Services. He listened intently to his customers along the way and began building one of the most comprehensive lists of services in the industry.

Great company overall, especially with regard to customer service. From start to finish everything went smoothly. We were pulling out a vent free gas fireplace due to carbon monoxide to replace it with an electric fireplace that is much safer. I purchased my air conditioning unit from from another company last year and they were not helping me resolve some issues I was having with my unit.
