Glasco is here to serve you in this difficult time, and we are making your safety our top priority. Since 1994, Glasco Heating & Air Conditioning has been providing dependable and affordable services to homeowners throughout Connecticut who are looking for heating and air cooling systems that they can depend on. Working from our full service metal shop in South Windsor, we fabricate our own custom and standardized size ductwork, making the process more efficient and cost-effective for our customers.

The comfort of your home is our primary concern, which is why we offer a 24-hour emergency service hotline to protect your family, should the unexpected happen. From power outages that leave you without heat in the winter to circuit breaks that cause air conditioners to shut off during the sweltering summer heat, we provide quick and dependable relief so you can feel at ease in your own home. From expert installation of top brands, including Lennox, Bradford White and Mitsubishi Electric, to full service cleaning and preventive maintenance plans, we put the safety and comfort of your home's interior climate at the top of our list.

At Glasco, our technicians are all trained to perform installation and repairs on residential ductless A/C systems to help you live more comfortably on hot summer days. Unlike traditional central A/C units, ductless cooling systems offer homeowners a cost-effective way to replace inefficient window units. These systems can be installed in home additions, new home construction and condominiums or to improve temperature control in specific rooms. Ductless A/C systems also help save money by operating on less power and lowering energy costs.

A highly flexible heating solution, ductless heating systems are comprised of a small outdoor unit and one or more indoor units that require mounting capabilities and access to electricity. We'll do the rest! In addition to providing a more cost-efficient heating source, ductless heating systems offer advanced filtration that can significantly reduce dust, bacteria, pollen, allergens and other particulates in the air. Ductless systems are much less invasive to install, and depending on the size of the unit you are installing, can be up and running in as little as one day.

Central air conditioning systems use an outdoor condensing unit to circulate refrigerant through copper piping that leads to an evaporator coil inside an air handler in your home. The air handler also contains a blower unit that moves air over the cooled evaporator coil. It then distributes and circulates that air through a series of supply and return ducts throughout your home. Residential central air conditioning systems have an average life expectancy of 15 years. These days, newly built homes are often equipped with central air, unlike many older homes.

Geothermal heat pumps are able to heat, cool and, if so equipped, supply hot water to your home. Some common types of geothermal systems include vertical loop, horizontal loop and closed loop systems. Quiet, durable and unaffected by outdoor air temperature, geothermal systems can reach high efficiency on cold winter nights by using the constant temperature of the earth as the exchange medium. While the cost of a geothermal system can be significantly higher than other heating systems, the costs are often returned to you in noticeable energy savings within several years.

First, I have to start by saying that Glasco Heating and Air Conditioning Inc. is the best customer-focuse d company that I have ever dealt with in a very long time. My wife and I wanted to convert our steam boiler system from oil to gas. We sought out several very recognizable named companies and was extremely disappointed in their customer service. Glasco was recommended by my wife's co-worker. Ron, co-owner, came and met with us and at the end of the meeting, it was a done deal. We didn't have to worry about asbestos removal, oil tank removal, and etc., they took care of everything at a fair and reasonable price. Subsequently, their project manager, Jeff, walked us through the entire process and on the day of installation, which I might add was very smooth. The team of sub-contractors was just as neat and professional as the Glasco team. Glasco, we can't thank you enough for what you did and how you communicated with us through the entire process. I would give you 10 stars if I could! Thanks! Oh, by the way, I have already told my friends and co-workers about your company, that you are the best!

Very friendly and professional people who listen to detail and do great work! I would recommend them to anyone.

Glasco installed our gas boiler. They were very professional, courteous and prompt. They answered all of our questions, were very easy to talk to and kept us in the loop about what they were doing. Their prices were very reasonable. Bonus, all of the guys were very friendly towards our little pup! Would definitely recommend them and use them again!

What's new?

1. Avoid a long waiting list 2. Get ahead of any issues 3. Save money on energy costs
