Having been in business in Sunnyvale for 70 years, we're one of the oldest and most stable of plumbing shops in the South San Francisco Bay Area. Our working owners take an active part in the day-to-day operations of the company, to assure our customers of many future years of personal, quality service. We don't have sales people. When you inquire about an estimate on repipe or HVAC Install, we won't have a salesman call on you. What you will get, is a professionally prepared proposal -- and a member of the management team who will take time to answer all your questions and address any Concerns you may have regarding the job.
As our existing supplies of natural gas and propane begin to dwindle in the future, it becomes even more important to look towards alternative sources of energy. The earth itself holds great potential for heating and cooling, and it can be harnessed for domestic use. Six feet below the earth's surface, the ground temperature stays constant throughout the year. A Geothermal System "collects" this energy and transfers it inside to the home. To make it simple, natural heat from below the earth's surface is transferred inside through a series of pipes which are usually buried outside the house.

Being an essential type business, we will be providing service. There are several things that can be done to help keep us away 1- don't use the garbage disposal 2- flush twice if you have a larger load 3- don't repair anything you can't do without If you do need us, clear the area we need to work in making it easier to clean afterwards
Things to help get through this lockdown 1- don't put wipes or any other non flushable items in toilet. Consider even not flushing toilet paper is you know your sewer line is problematic 2- avoid running food down your disposal especially if you have older metal pipes for a sewer system. Plastic tends not to clog as easy but still possible. 3- avoid do it yourself plumbing projects. It can create unnecessary runs to the hardware store or even leave your nonfunctional 4- of you need.
For what it's worth. We will be working this week. If you need us please advise of potential Coronavirus contact as we need to be cautious for our servicemen and other customers. We'll all get through this
Saw an insurance commercial the other day. A basement got flooded from a leaking water heater supply line. The homeowners were great full that the insurance covered the expensive repairs. If the water heater had been inspected at least once a year the disaster might have been avoided to begin with. Just a simple visual inspection a few times a year is all it takes and a plumber is not necessarily required. Catch a problem before it starts or early before it has time to do its worst. That.
Another tip on saving water. Stop heavy use of you garbage disposal. You need to use lots of water to properly flush all the food out of the piping
