We collaborate with architects, depending on the size and scope of the project. But often when dealing directly with an architect, they will only produce a design for a client and usually won't take into consideration the cost of the project until multiple bids are procured. At that point, the client needs to decide if that level of investment is doable or not. If it's not, then it could mean that you're back at the drawing board. Design/Build teams are wonderful for larger, hands-on projects. In the very beginning, we'll have a conversation about the level of investment you'd like to stay within and we'll design accordingly.

Prior to joining the Cipriani team, Ken had his own interior design business where he honed some amazing skills in combining materials, colors, contrast, and patterns, and he developed great floor and lighting plans.

Design is in my blood, literally. I eat, sleep, and breathe design for my clients. My passion is helping them turn a house into a home. For me, a home is where memories are built and should reflect the heart and soul of a family. Melissa has a rare point of view and a particular skill set having been raised in a home full of design talent. Her father, Howard Firth, is a multi-award winning interior designer in Sarasota, Florida. At an early age, Melissa could be found at his side playing junior design assistant - eager to soak up his passion and creativity for the design.

I am able to put my passion to work and still keep it personal. Helping my clients fulfill their dreams while creating great new spaces in their homes gives me the best of both worlds. It's wonderful seeing their happy faces when their project is completed. Creating, decorating and designing have always been passions for Sue. And after 20 years of working in other industries, Sue decided that designing was what she really wanted to do for her career. Sue's experience began when she had the opportunity to buy a house in dire need of rehab.
