John Dolan renovated our kitchen at the start of this year. From the start we had a great experience from the first meeting until the last walk through. Caroline came to our house at the beginning took measurements and listened to what my husband and I were looking for. She was able to work with the design to give us everything we wanted in the space we had. What I think is the most important is that she really listened to us and made the kitchen fit with the house. We had received some other quotes/designs that were more of what the designer wanted instead of what we wanted. Caroline also had a great knowledge of what would work/not work and what made sense/practical. John Dolan also was able to give a beautiful kitchen within our budget. Once construction started the process met the timeline they gave us. They were timely with their communication and response to concerns/questions my husband and I had. Now we have a beautiful bright open kitchen that is much more user friendly with lots of storage. This is exactly what we needed. When a few issues popped up as things always do with major construction- John Dolan had someone at the house to fix it the next day. My husband says almost every day- I love our kitchen! We could not be happier and would both highly recommend John Dolan Flooring Kitchen and Bath!

I just want to take a minute and say out of 5stars I would give John Dolan and staff a 10!from John ,maryanne,and every employee on his staff fantastic! From what I’ve seen my friends going through with contractors, I thank my lucky stars we went with him!every one of his employees are friendly,knowledgeable, and make the chaos of remodeling a pleasurable experience! I’ll be totally honest like every homeowner should you should always shop around and get Estimates. Yes you may find another with a lower estimate but growing up my dad always told me you get what you pay for and I’m glad I listened to him! Trust me you will not be disappointed with this company!!

Terrible customer service!!!
From the beginning it was a bad start. John said 1.5 weeks for estimate, but it took two weeks and me badgering Lorraine (estimator and scheduler) for an estimate.
Another problem was Lorraine/John kept adding things on the estimate that I didn't need or ask for. This happened multiple times. Seemed like they just wanted to add more to the estimate at my expense.
I told Lorraine repeatedly that I have a hard deadline to get the job done and every time she said, "No problem". Well, it turned out to be a problem, which only became my problem.
John told me 2 weeks to get the work done and Lorraine said the deadline won't be a problem, but both were wrong. They didn't even talk to each other about the work being done. Two weeks on the job was now changed to three weeks and they wouldn't even be able to start until 4 days BEFORE my deadline that 'wasn't going to be a problem.'
I thought a compromise would be to keep them on the job but they pay $430 for a storage pod. They get work ($$) and I don't have to stack furniture and be cramped for (at least ) three weeks. (The hard deadline was because my girlfriend was moving in; so I would have twice the amount of stuff).
They made the mistake with scheduling and not communicating but I have to pay the price. Lorraine said best bet is to find someone else. I quickly called Charlie the Handyman and he came right over and begun working. He is prompt, hard working, doesn't make excuses, and owns up to his word.
Go with John Dolan if money is burning in your wallet and you have an opened ended time schedule. If you cannot handle that, then go with Chuck McCabe or someone else. John Dolan and Lorraine Dolan-Davis are not worth your time.

Finished the job on time as promised and my kitchen came out spectacular. Beautiful work, dedicated to perfection! I would recommend John and his crew to do just about anything- kitchen, baths, hardwoods, replace interior doors etc. They take such pride in their workmanship!
