Granite countertops are an investment in your home. Properly maintained granite countertops can be kept looking like new years after installation. Proper daily care, as well as more infrequent maintenance such as sealing, can help keep your countertop looking as great as possible! This is imperative, particularly with acidic substances which include things like wine, coffee, fruit juices, tomato products, cooking oils and sodas. These will not etch granite like they would marble, but they could stain the counter's surface.
I wanted to update my kitchen but couldn't afford to tear out all cabinets & existing granite so I decided to replace only the existing island w new cabinets and granite. Ahmed & his team were awesome right from the start. They were creative and saw only opportunities instead of problems. They are designers and have a good eye for things but are also good listeners. Together we achieved a beautiful result. The installers were also very good & professional. I couldn't be happier! Nice job guys:
Recently we decided to update the kitchen in our home. Our house was built in the mid-80's and the kitchen showed its age. Working with Rachel Fauteux was a pleasure. She was truly understanding to the daunting task of selecting the stone of which the countertop would be made from, to assisting in selecting a complimentary tile for use in the backsplash. Ahmed, Dawn, and Devon were equally helpful in making this whole project seamless from concept through completion. I am truly pleased with the skill and craftsmanship of the entire team and I would recommend Granite and Kitchen Studio to anyone who asked.
