I start by using a soft strip washer and a very concentrated solution called Glisten. This window cleaning solution will literally make your windows sparkle. After thoroughly wetting the window, I'll squeegee the water off using a Sorbo wide body squeegee, made specifically for this application. My recommendation is to have your windows cleaned professionally inside and out the first time. I will then come back and clean just the outside in 6 months time, following that up six months later with my complete inside and outside cleaning once again.
First, I use ladder stand-offs so as not to cause damage to your gutters. Then I personally clean your gutters by hand, making sure nothing gets left behind. Cleaning by hand also helps me to see up close if there's anything you should be concerned about regarding the condition of your gutters. I'll let you know if there is. I'll take the time to carefully inspect your downspouts as well. My recommendation is to have your gutters cleaned thoroughly once a year. This will help prevent unnecessary damage being caused to your gutters and will protect your downspouts too.
Unlike many companies that use high pressure washing systems that may cause harm to your home's exterior, I use low pressure combined with a special high quality house specific detergent. Some companies will also use caustic chemicals to make their task a little easier, but these types of chemicals can cause unnecessary damage to your home. I'm happy to say I don't use any such chemicals in my process. I finish off by applying a surface sealant and mold inhibitor. This provides an extra layer of protection and helps to keep your house looking its absolute best for as long as possible.
