It is obvious that commercial carpet is different from the carpet in your home. It is much thinner, and hard to the touch. In fact it is usually installed directly to the subfloor (concrete); actually glued down into place. It is this glue down installation of the commercial carpet that makes steam cleaning so ineffective (using vacuum extraction). The cleaning method used by Advanced Cleaning Systems (ACS) on commercial carpet is specific for commercial carpets and their installation. The cleaning theory is sound, in fact it was awarded excellence as a Deep Cleaning method by the Carpet & Rug Institute (CRI)!
Every piece of upholstered furniture is unique and requires special care. ACS offers the methods and solutions to address every cleaning concern or situation: synthetics to dry clean only, velvets, jacquards, silks, cottons, linens, chenille, microfiber, rayon, leather, etc. Desk chairs, sofas, partitions and other upholstered furniture in a business environment receive a lot of use. Upholstery cleaned by ACS will look and feel new. Our environmentally safe cleaner is also non-toxic. Our system applies a "green" pre-spray onto your upholstery and as necessary we use solvent boosters on the dirtier areas such as arms, cushions, and backs to release the body oils.

Both can be made of synthetic or natural materials and woven in different patterns to give it a different feel or look. Where there isn't carpet or wood there are Tiled floors. Tiled floors come in many different types. Natural stone, ceramic or porcelain, and linoleum are all common tiles that all require different procedures in cleaning and maintaining.
Two simple steps to keep a beautiful and permanent addition to any architectural design, yet so easily ignored. That is all that's needed if you have a honed (dull or matted) finish, i.e. Slate, sandstone, or travertine. However, you may have a polished travertine, marble, or even a limestone floor. In this case, you will need a bit more maintenance to retain that shine. Every 12-18 months you'll need to clean as well as re-polish the floor before reapplying the sealant. There are two methods for re-polishing; chemical (crystallizing) or mechanical (diamond grinding).
No type of flooring material is truly maintenance free, and the same holds true for decorative concrete. Concrete floors are relatively easy to care for when compared with other types of flooring, but they do require regular attention. How much maintenance your floor will need largely depends on the amount of traffic it receives. Keep in mind that the joints in the design, grout lines or simple cracks and pores will trap dirt.
Finally, we apply a penetrating sealer (not a topical sealer). This provides stain guarding while maximizing appearance and allowing the tile & grout to "breath" (vapor permeable). Penetrating sealers should be applied every 2-3 years after proper cleaning. Ceramic or Porcelain tile floors only require the porous grout lines to be sealed. However, Clay, Saltillo and Terrazzo Tiles, are all very porous and need to be sealed along with the grout. Unfortunately, many facilities apply a wax coat thinking this is the way to get a shiny appearance and is proper maintenance.
Area rugs are a great addition to your lobby, hallways and other uncarpeted spaces that add to the dcor and help protect the floors. However, they can become dirty quickly. ACS techs are trained to clean all types of rugs, from simple mats to Orientals, Persians, wools and silk. We use our truck mount steam cleaning system and perform basic light cleaning similar to your tacked down carpets. We always wipe away any excess moisture from the flooring due to our cleaning process and will lay the rug on a safe surface that you select for it to dry.
