For those of you who are new to Signature, we would like to tell you a little about ourselves. We are a smaller, family owned and operated company. Signature has been serving most of Central Ohio since 1992. We offer a satisfaction guarantee. If there's something you're not pleased with, we'll come back and take care of it, free of charge. We do use the steam cleaning method, which is currently the ONLY approved method of most carpet manufacturers, that will not void your carpet warranty.

Using special furniture cleaning equipment, we thoroughly clean and rinse your upholstery. It is highly beneficial if you thoroughly vacuum your upholstery before having it steam cleaned. This helps to remove the loose debris and hair that may be on it. Remember we clean with steam, things that are not water soluble (such as pet hair) should be vacuumed off. Not to mention hair is much more difficult to remove once it's wet. If you have long hair and you occasionally take a shower, you know what I mean.

Signature Carpet Care uses a hot water extraction process to clean your carpets. This method is often called "Steam Cleaning." This is the cleaning method nearly all carpet manufacturers and carpet fiber producers recommend. Other methods of carpet cleaning may void your warranty. Please refer to your warranty for more information. Our truck mounted and powered, state of the art, equipment cleans at 230+ degrees to safely extract soil, stains, and bacteria. There is a delicate balance with water temperature, you want to use hot enough water to obtain optimal cleaning results while not using water that is too hot and can damage the fibers of your carpet.

Steam-cleaning or hot water extraction initially involves the application of a detergent based solution. After appropriate dwell time, a pressurized manual or automatic cleaning tool (such as a wand) passes over the surface several times to thoroughly rinse out all residue, soil and particulates. There are benefits of steam cleaning over other methods, such as dry cleaning or bonnet methods; First, most of the soiling and spills in our homes are water soluble and can not sufficiently be flushed out of carpet fibers without the use of water.

We offer 24 hour, 7 day emergency service. We use IICRC certified training procedures for flooded carpets and structures insuring fast drying times on average of 3 days. We remove standing water with our modern state-of-the-art extraction equipment. The next, and most important step is to dry the structure. The wet carpet and padding is a small percentage of the concern during a water emergency. With the use of commercial blowers and dehumidifiers we can, in most cases, dry your carpet, padding and structure without ripping out or replacing anything.
