I woke up to a 50F house this morning. When I called Hinding this morning, the woman who answered the phone said "Are you a current customer? Because if you're not, we're really swamped and not taking on new clients." I am a customer - Hinding replaced the blower motor in my furnace a few years back. But the woman on the phone claimed she couldn't find me in the system and then basically hung up on me.
On Thanksgiving our heat went out and it was a simple repair that my husband could fix, (a kink in the gas line) however there was no place open to get a replacement part at. I called Hinding and they had a guy at the shop on a different call who was willing to wait for us to come get a part. We got there and he had the part waiting and would not let us pay for it saying that it was a cheep gas line and after all its Thanksgiving. We will for sure be using them the next time we need a repair job.
