We've been proudly serving the greater Milledgeville area since 1969. Steve Chambers is the owner and President and is a 2nd generation dry cleaner. Steve is also the President of the Southeastern Fabricare Association and a Milledgeville City Councilman. It's an exciting day, this is our first blog post! It's also our first website. Over the coming months we hope to post useful information you find interesting and useful, things like cleaning tips and our take on local happenings. We hope you enjoy it!
The foundation of our company is family. Starting in 1969, Maynard and June Chambers started Chambers Cleaners and ran it together, establishing the company's family values. They had two children, Steve and Mike, who were so excited to get to work in the cleaners every chance they got (wink wink!). Eventually, Steve and his wife Teresa, took over the business in 2000. They had children, Casie and Carly, who also had to be dragged kicking and screaming away from the cleaners every summer! Do you see a pattern here?!
