We are a family owned & operated company that has been in business since 1985. Back then, we were Classic Carpet Cleaning, we had 1 truck and owner Shawn Copeman was the sole employee. Today we're Classic Carpet Cleaning, Complete Cleaning & Restoration and Steamway of Northern Michigan. We have 16 employees, 11 trucks & vans, 4 trailers, 2 dump carts, 2 duct cleaning machines, 1 ozone machine, 2 thermal foggers, 1 trailer mounted tes unit, 3 e-tes units, 20 dehumidifiers, and well over a hundred air movers.

According to the National Air Duct Cleaners Association, up to 40 pounds of dust is created annually in a typical 6 room home. Through normal occupation we generate a great deal of contaminants and air pollutants such as dander, dust & chemicals. These pollutants are pulled into the HVAC system & recirculated 5-7 times per day. Overtime, this recirculation causes a build up of contaminants in your duct work which results in your system having to work harder to maintain temperature. In fact, the U.S. Department of Energy says that 25-40% of energy used for heating & cooling a home is wasted.

In today's DIY world with how-to instructions for everything online, it's tempting to think you can just rent or buy a machine & clean your own carpeting to save a few bucks. The problem with that is that while SOMETIMES your carpet may look cleaner afterward, it REALLY isn't clean at all. Our truck mounted machines use the hot water extraction process recommended by most carpet manufacturers. These machines allow us to penetrate deep down into the carpet fibers to draw out deeply embedded stains & disgusting odors.

A house fire is one of those unthinkable events that we all hope we NEVER have to deal with. Having your personal space & belongings compromised or just suddenly gone forever is beyond heartbreaking & can be completely overwhelming. There are so many other factors that can coincide with a fire and cause extensive damage on their own; our certified technicians have the knowledge, ability & experience to handle them all. Smoke damage obviously goes hand in hand, as well as soot damage and water damage from the fire department is also typically present.
