Cagwin & Dorward is a full service landscape provider specializing in landscape maintenance, landscape construction, water management, and tree care for commercial, municipal and residential customers in Bay Area, Sacramento and Central Valley. Since 1955, Cagwin & Dorward has been a leader in creating and maintaining beautiful landscapes. We deliver exceptional service by building relationships with our customers and the communities we serve.

Cagwin & Dorward was established in 1955 when Tom Cagwin, a graduate in Ornamental Horticulture from Cal Poly San Louis Obispo, formed a partnership with Dave Dorward, a Stanford Business Economics graduate. Their business goal was simple: To serve customers first and foremost. Initially launched as a landscape construction company, the new enterprise began installing landscapes for high-end residential and commercial properties in Marin County, California. The company was incorporated in 1961. In the late 1960's the Landscape Maintenance Business Unit was created to support the construction installation projects.

Healthy trees increase property values and reduce liability. We will work with you to develop a tree care plan to improve the appearance, safety, and health of your trees with regular tree service while staying within your budget. Our tree care customers are residential and commercial properties, golf courses, and municipalities. Our Tree Care Managers are Certified Arborists with an average of 20 years' experience in the tree care industry. Our conscientious and respectful staff strives to avoid disruptions on your property.

Every customer has a different definition of ideal landscape maintenance service. We ask you to define your specific needs and what is most important to you. We will create a tailored maintenance plan based on your specific needs and deliver your definition of quality landscaping at the right price. Our staff will be your eyes and ears on site. We will check in with you regularly and bring any landscaping issues to your attention right away. We will address minor issues before they become major problems.
