I am so happy with the sod I got from Western Turf. It is so much better looking than the sod I've seen at the big box stores and other sod places in the area. Every single time I talked to them they were friendly and helpful. It's nice that they deliver, because having to pick up a bunch of sod would be a huge pain! Now I hope I never have to but if I do I will buy sod from them again without hesitation! I am a total yard and landscape contractor in this valley and I only buy from this company.

Although the majority of the products we sell have color throughout the pavers, the color will soften over time. However, pavers are easy to restore to a like-new appearance using many sealer options. It is the combination of the total installation, with the ratio between the thickness, length, and width of the paver, which makes them "interlocking", not the shape. When installed with the ICPI (Interlocking Concrete Paver Institute) guidelines, the proper amount of base material, bedding sand, edge restraint, and finishing sand is used.

Like many plants, grass has a below-ground root system topped by a living, aboveground shoot that's green and growing. In between lies a layer known as thatch. Some thatch is natural and good for a lawn, but too much can usher in problems. Thatching is a very aggressive procedure and must be done while the grass is completely dormant. If your lawn has a build up of dead plant material at the base of the plant that exceeds inch, its time to dethatch. Early March is the perfect time to thatch or aerate your lawn!

Our services begin with our signature Western Turf Sight Assessment where we evaluate the health, resources and playability of your fields. We then define the steps needed to repair, recover, and maintain your surfaces. A Western Turf Sight Assessment yields a score of 1 to 5, 5 being the best.
