Keeping your lawn and landscape properly watered is extremely important. A poor watering schedule or no watering schedule can lead to poor plant growth or dead and dying plant material. An automated irrigation system is an elegant solution to turf and landscape plant hydration issues. An irrigation system set to a timer can be a huge savings through the conservation of water as your plants, shrubbery, trees, and lawn can be timed to get the correct amount of water needed. Plus, an irrigation system/lawn sprinkler set to a timer can also be a valuable time saver in areas that have very specified watering restrictions.
At College Fund Landscaping our design process is simple. First, we listen closely to our client's desires, needs, personal landscaping tastes, maintenance preferences, and wishes during an in-person visit. During this visit, we complete an assessment of the property where we determine sunlight variances throughout the property, soil health and quality, and any areas with special needs such as areas with erosion. Next, we will complete a detailed landscape design plan to the fullest detail. We do charge $250 for a front or back yard design ($500 for full designs front and back).
To maintain a lush and healthy lawn, it is important to make sure the grass is getting the proper nutrients. Our professional fertilization process can insure maximum results. We examine your property thoroughly in order to disperse the correct fertilizer for your type of grass, in the right amount, at intervals that will be most effective. During fertilization we can identify any problem weeds, and take corrective measures to prevent damage and spreading. Please call us today to speak to one of our experts for an estimate or to answer any questions you may have about Fertilization and Weed Control.

College Fund Landscaping offers sod installation as an option when turf grass needs to be put in place quickly without waiting for the normal process of planted grass to grow out to full coverage. The areas to be sodded will be hand tilled, graded, and raked to remove all previous weeds and grasses. Once proper grading and drainage is achieved, we recommend a starter fertilizer application to allow quick rooting of the new sod. After your high quality turf-grass sod is put to the ground, we will give the area a final roll with a weighted lawn roller to insure proper adhesion to the ground and no air pockets.
