If your backflow is outside we can perform the test at anytime, no need for anyone to be home. Brummel Lawn and Landscape will fill out all required paperwork and send it in to the city water department for you. All forms will be submitted as soon as the payment is received. If you have an above-ground backflow, it is important to schedule your appointment sooner rather than later to avoid damage from a surprise, early freeze.

Brummel Lawn & Landscape LLC is here to serve you. From simple to complex leaks, replacing heads, valves, and raising boxes and heads to prevent scalping of the lawn. Our office is open Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm. In the spring, we will turn the water on, check each zone for leaks, and make sure that every head is working and is properly adjusted, as well as setup the controller to irrigate more efficiently. To prepare for the colder months, we come out to make sure the water is completely turned off and all water is removed from each sprinkler zone to prevent freeze damage to pipes, heads, and zones.

The first step is to aerate or verti-cut the lawn improving soil for better 'seed to soil' contact. Next, we seed the lawn with either blue grass or fescue. The first step in the process is spraying the lawn, either the entire yard, front or back, with a complete kill herbicide (Round Up). About a week later, Brummel Lawn will come back and seed the yard with premium seed and fertilizer. The lawn must stay moist for the seed to germinate, fill in and promote good root growth. The success of grass growth with a lawn renovation depends greatly upon the combined efforts of the homeowner and Brummel Lawn.
