After speaking with John Getz this afternoon, I don't know how he stays in business. I was driving behind his Lawnscapes dump truck on route 150 coming toward Peoria on the bridge. The truck was hauling gravel, and was equipped with a roll tarp to cover the load but they failed to utilize it. So when the driver hit a pot hole rocks from his load landed on my wind shield breaking it. This is a new vehicle only had the Durango for a week. We pull up along side the truck and I call the number on the door. That's when I speak with John. Upon explaining to him what happened describing his driver to him and giving him the trucks license plate number his response was, "I don't know what to tell you." Not an apology, not let me get your info and I'll contact my insurance. For this complete unprofessionali sm I would not give my business to nor recommend this company to anyone. I grew up in Eureka, Illinois graduated from Eureka College it used to be a good Christian town obviously Mr. Getz doesn't share the morals and values once embodied by citizens of Eureka.
The ever-popular question.....Wh ich Hydrangeas can you prune? You can prune the varieties that fall under Hydrangea Paniculata and Hydrangea Arborescens. Some examples: Bobo, Firelight, Limelight, Little Lime, Pinky Winky, Quick-Fire, Little Quick-Fire, Zinfin Doll, Strawberry Vanilla (pictured)...
Mums - Sm. Med. & XXL just showing a pop of color, lots of time to enjoy for fall.
Hydrangea's need lots of water during these hot summer months, don't let them wilt, give them plenty of water.
If your planning any yard work over your 4th of July holiday, we will be having limited hours.
