Nature's Enhancement, Inc. was founded over 20 years ago in Montana's Bitterroot Valley, surrounded by majestic mountain scenery. Our experienced staff of nursery and landscape professionals is pleased to offer native and hardy plant selections and custom installations to the Rocky Mountain region. Our 40 acre nursery, headquartered in Stevensville, Montana, produces hundreds of thousands of quality plants each year. Our products range from wildflowers and grasses to large colorful shrubs, rich evergreens, and instant shade producing trees.
Extensive brochure discusses the use of native plants, their requirements and care and incorporating them into your landscape. Firescaping resources for Montana homeowners discussing firewise plant material for the northern Rocky Mountains. This diagnostic database contains information about many common Missoula County plants, and the pests and diseases which affect them. It provides the Missoula County Extension Services / Missoula County Integrated Pest Management Committee guidelines for both pest monitoring and least toxic options for management of pests and diseases in the landscape and garden.
Nature's Enhancement offers full landscape services. In addition to our design and consultation services, we install complete irrigation systems, lawns, custom rock walls, walkways, plant materials, and landscape lighting.
The professional landscape crews at Nature's Enhancement, Inc. take great pride in our hardscape installations. We are pleased to offer our customers a vast selection of material that will blend with the current surroundings, offer low maintenance, and have practical use. Pathways are installed to correct grade, and designed with the intended function in mind. Numerous colors, textures, and sizes of material can be chosen based on conditions of the site. A signature aspect of many of our customized projects is our installation of rock walls.
Internally at the nursery we recycle all of our containers. We also encourage recycling by our customers by accepting containers back after planting and providing nursery credit for new plant purchases. Nature's Enhancement tries to recycle all materials while creating landscapes. This includes old decking, pavers, landscaping rocks, plastic and metal edging and composting old plants for mulch. The material that we collect is donated to Pacific Steel and Home Resources for repurposing.
We believe in giving back to our community. We do that on a regular basis through donating plant material, employee time and skills, and equipment. Below are a few examples of what we have done to support the area. Nature's Enhancement provided a full crew (10 - 12 employees) and numerous pieces of heavy equipment to install the automated irrigation system for the Stevensville soccer field. We have donated truckloads of trees and shrubs over the past 10 years to keep the Camp lush with vegetation and provide a beautiful setting for the kids to visit.
Many successful restoration projects have been implemented by Nature's Enhancement crews. Our knowledgeable staff has extensive experience taking projects from the design stage to installation and through to project completion. Upon completing a project, we monitor to ensure that our techniques were successful and that the outcome meets our customer's expectations. We have worked with issues including poor soil, dry conditions, erosion control, stabilization, and wildlife browse problems. After assessing the problems and considering our client's needs and ideas, we find a solution that works for the site.
