Horizon Landscaping and Nursery was started in 1993 by Jim Kattke. Born and raised in eastern South Dakota, Jim graduated from Southeast Technical Institute with a degree in landscape design & horticulture. Prior to locating to the Black Hills, Jim worked in landscaping and yard maintenance for 13 years in Southern California. Jim has a wealth of knowledge and experience in bringing out your yard's potential.

We specialize in Black Hills Spruce, Colorado Spruce, Australian Pine, and Frasier Fur grown from seedlings on our tree farm located in eastern South Dakota.
