Proper watering is essential if you're going to maintain a beautiful lawn around your home or business. CD Lawn Maintenance & Supply has experts for cutting your lawn, and we can help you with the watering part as well. If you already have an in-ground automatic sprinkler system, we can prepare the system in spring, testing all sprinkler heads, replacing and repairing them as needed. We'll also check for low-pressure, misaligned spray patterns and any problems with electrical controls, making adjustments and repairs as needed.

Our supplies include outdoor bins of top soil, pea gravel, mulch and landscaping stones. Inside the store, we have fertilizers, general and landscaping tools, weed barrier and more. The store is located at 8786 East K Avenue, east of Galesburg, near the Hickory Ridge Golf Course. Our staff can provide next-day deliver of loads of top soil, mulch, gravel and stones starting at $40 per load delivery charge. The CD Lawn Maintenance and Supply store is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

We will spade edge beds by hand in spring and refresh the edging as needed. Our crews will lay down new mulch in spring. Throughout the growing season we will prune shrubs for a natural look, weed flower beds as needed, and clear away dead branches from your trees.

When the growing season ends and the trees give up their last gasp of leaves, it's time for us to put away our lawnmowers and mount the snowblades on our trucks. CD Lawn and Maintenance offers snow removal services for home, businesses, even neighborhood associations. Our crews will clear snow from driveways, sidewalks, porch steps and business parking lots. We can also contract with neighborhood associations and small towns to clear streets.

CD Lawn Maintenance and Supply has regular needs for qualified experienced lawn and landscape individuals, persons certified in fertilizer application, and drivers experienced in snow plowing. We require our staff to be professional, drug free and to have a valid driver's license.

Our seasonal lawn maintenance for homes and businesses begins with a spring cleanup after the last of the winter snow and ground frost has gone. Our staff picks up sticks and other winter debris, rakes and blows off left over leaves, then finish with an initial mowing. We will also fertilize and aerate lawns to help ensure a lush growth. For CD Lawn Maintenance's contract service, we'll schedule your lawn for a weekly mowing on the same day of the week. If weather delays our weekly schedule, our crews will simply pick up where we left off when the weather clears and continue through the weekend if necessary to complete that week's service.

Once you approve the design, our expert staff can begin constructing the project, including building retaining walls as needed, shaping the land's topography, and planting trees, shrubs, flowers and plants to bring your ideas into colorful fruition.
