He established Brunner Landscape in 1989, which began as a 3-employee landscape and irrigation installation company. Through the years, as our client's needs grew, so did we.

Run through a screening process to remove any excess debris. 100% natural, no additives. Use for making flower/ landscape beds or topdressing area before installing a lawn. This is the same material that we use for our professionally installed lawns and landscape beds. One yard of this material weighs over one ton. Organic blend, this double shred material has all the components of the tree for a rich organic value.

This service is available in Avon, Avon Lake, Sheffield Village, Westlake and in limited areas of North Ridgeville and Elyria. Mowing is done on a weekly basis and on a seasonal contract basis only. We do not do "one-time" cuts or temporary situations. The lawn is cut to an average height of 2 1/2″. Clippings will be removed as needed. Includes edging and trimming. Edging turf along the sidewalks, streets, etc. will be done on a bi-weekly basis with a power edger to keep a clean and neat edge.

The purpose of the backflow device on your sprinkler system is to keep the outside water (which can contain contaminants such as fertilizer, pesticides etc.) from backing up and entering into your drinking water. Testing your backflow will keep your drinking water safe. A device that fails this test needs to be repaired or replaced immediately. We test backflows in Lorain County and some western suburbs that receive their water from Cleveland. This test must be performed by a state licensed backflow tester registered with your city.

Utilizing the backyard area as a functional outdoor living space - done in brick - is today's trend. It creates a comfortable place to entertain or just relax and enjoy the outdoors. Brick is durable and easier to maintain than a wood deck. Possibilities with brick seem endless. You can do something as simple as a walkway or as elaborate as a patio area with steps, walls, and pillars. Grills can also be done in brick, with outdoor fireplaces and fire pits as other options.

In a new construction, it is usually recommended that the area is top dressed first with a screened topsoil. The final grade provided by the builder is many times not adequate for lawn installation. You have the option of a seeded lawn or a sod lawn. A sod lawn will give you an instant lawn that can be used immediately, but, of course, costs more than a seeded lawn. Either choice still requires care and maintenance on the homeowner's part, especially during the first year. A fertilization program must be followed.
