Spencer Air Conditioning and Heating was established in 1960 by Harry Spencer. Mr. Spencer moved to Irving in 1947 after serving in WW II as an Army Airman. While co-piloting a B-17 bomber to England, Mr. Spencer and his crew crash-landed on the Greenland ice cap. He miraculously survived 89 days before being rescued. He received the Legion of Merit in 1943. The Legion of Merit is one of the highest awards that can be bestowed on a member of the armed services for non-combat heroism. Upon his arrival in Irving, Mr. Spencer joined his brother-in-law, Louis Blaylock, as a co-owner of Trinity Hardware.
Your HVAC filter plays a crucial job in providing comfort in your home. However, just like all other parts of your HVAC, air filters also need proper maintenance to ensure good performance. David C. at Spencer is the best. He is truthful and makes sure everything is working correctly. The office personnel are friendly and helpful as well. I have found a permanent home with Spencer.
I'm originally from Irving, and my family has used Spencer's for years. My family lived in Irving for about 45 years before they passed away in 2014-2015. About a year and a half ago, I moved out of Irving, and bought my own house. During the time I was taking care of my family, I lived and took care of their house after they passed, and I knew I could always call Spencer's for them to help me fix the AC/heat! Spencer's was there for me during my difficult time in my life with my family and I knew I could always trust them to fix things! Tonight, I called Spencer's again out to my new house in the Keller/North Fort Worth area because my upstairs unit stopped working this afternoon! Everyone from Customer Service, to my Service Technician David, was so nice! Spencer's has always exceeded my expectations, and David even showed my fiance and I what to do about our filters because we're still figuring out all the bells and whistles to our new house! From the bottom of my heart, thank you Spencer's for always taking care of me and my family!
I have ten (10) HV/AC units (this is not a typo) and been dealing with Spencer Heating and Air for seven years. I would not consider doing business with anyone but Spencer. Here's why: - Their technicians are trained and actually troubleshoot and repair. In dealing with other vendors in the past, every time there was a hiccup, here came a proposal for a new unit. Not with Spencer. Their technicians know what they are doing. They repair the unit and charge a very reasonable fee. - They are conscientious about what is warrantied and don't try to short sell the warranty period. - They stand behind their products and work. - I had a small condensation problem with one unit in which two air vents were getting wet in 100+ degree weather. It was evaluated by their service manager and decided that the best solution was to re-install the duct work. Not only did they offer this, but they also paid to have the small amount of water damage around the air vent repaired. This was a great expense to Spencer to solve a small problem. - They take a long term view and don't just think about today. They work hard to establish a relationship with the customer and strive to keep customer satisfaction high. - They have stability in their service department. I am working with the same people since I hired them seven years ago. - Their response time is fast. I would recommend anyone seeking a stellar vendor relationship with a company who is a leader in their industry to contact Spencer Air.
