DreamScapes Design Build and Maintenance Company started in 1995 out of the owner's home in Acworth GA. Our goal and requirement is to provide fully trained turf personnel with the knowledge to identify turf diseases, tree and shrub diseases, and all insects in our zone that are harmful to our landscapes. This starts with our maintenance guide. This is a guide we follow to ensure quality and healthy landscapes. This will also help you in understanding what you are getting for your dollar. We will start with the month of January and give you a guide through each month.

Jeannette Brown is a graduate of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Science with over 20 years of experience in innovative and creative landscape design and planning. We think it is important to create a connection between people, nature and the art of living outside and that garden design should be both useful and beautiful. We believe that gardens should be outdoor havens and inspire the people who use them. We design environmentally responsible landscapes by combining the client's vision, the uniqueness of each place and our principle of site sensitive design and sustainability.

ShawGrass is our line of artificial grass for residential and commercial applications. Shaw Grass offers several styles and grades to accommodate a variety of budgets. Advances in the design and construction of artificial turf have resulted in sustainable, functional, and realistic lawn products. It provides a low-maintenance, weed-free surface that doesn't need to be mowed, watered or fertilized. Synthetic grass is a soft, lush, natural looking, durable lawn alternative and is suitable for landscaping, pet areas, pool surrounds, play grounds and play areas, rooftop gardens and courtyards.

Organic mulches also improve the condition of the soil. As these mulches slowly decompose, they provide organic matter which helps keep the soil loose. This improves root growth, increases the infiltration of water, and also improves the water-holding capacity of the soil. Organic matter is a source of plant nutrients and provides an ideal environment for earthworms and other beneficial soil organisms. While inorganic mulches have their place in certain landscapes, they lack the soil improving properties of organic mulches.

Instead of using poured concrete to build a patio or deck or using hot asphalt to pave a driveway, some homeowners may choose to use pavers, which are pre-cast masonry or stone blocks similar to clay bricks. Pavers, however, come in a variety of shapes and colors and generally create a better finished walkway or driveway than standard clay bricks. Our interlocking pavers are tiles made of concrete that simulate cobblestone paths. The individual interlocking pavers fit together to cover a deck, patio, walkway, driveway, or anywhere you might consider placing concrete or bricks.

Dreamscapes offer a wide range of custom programs to fit all of your landscapes requirements and free up your valuable time. We visit the property 43 -50 times a year to keep your landscape manicured and healthy. Our programs include monthly inspections that evaluate the property and set goals for the next month. This is done by the property manger for that job and a copy is left with the homeowner to review and comment on. Our annual programs include our green up and weed free lawn care, tree and shrub care, ornamental weed control in beds, mowing, edging beds and hard lines, and pruning and leaf removal.

See our design build pricing. Stone walls, walkways, patios and driveways - We have stone masons on our team that have 30 years experience in stone masonry art. There is a huge difference in the quality of the stone work you can see on any of our jobs in comparison with your average stone mason. Our stone masons have won several best in southeast competitions.

Core aeration pulls 4 soil plugs from your lawn to aerate and allow thatch, sand, and air to enter. Soil also relieves compaction. Soil compaction can be corrected mechanically through core aeration; in nature, earthworms do a good job of working against soil compaction. In reference to compost bins, compaction occurs under anaerobic conditions. Turning a compost pile frequently is one way to avoid such compaction.
