Many of our long time employees, both nursery and landscape, are Flagler College graduates with degrees in art and design. We are State Licensed Irrigation Contractors with more than 35 years experience, including design course work at the University of Florida. Low volume and drip irrigation materials are routine components in the irrigation systems we design. We encourage a responsible approach to our State's precious water supply.

Southern Horticulture takes pride in the design and installation of high quality LED landscape lighting systems that will enhance the beauty of your garden and landscape. We are Florida State Licensed Low Voltage Landscape Lighting Contractors and offer Design/Build services to both residential and commercial landscapes. We recommend and install only high quality lighting fixtures, including Auroralight (with its Lifetime Warranty on fixtures) and Kichler (with its vast product line). LED technology is encouraged to reduce maintenance and operating costs.

We offer Design/Build services for all size residential and commercial projects. Landscape consultations, both on-site and in the nursery, are part of developing all Landscape Proposals. We encourage the principles of Florida Friendly Landscape as guidelines for responsible, Earth-Friendly, sustainable gardens and landscapes. Southern Horticulture offers a full line of organic products, including fertilizers, potting soils, pest controls, and a huge collection of plants, both native and conventional landscape species. Many examples of garden accents, pottery, bird baths, wind chimes and fountains are available. Take time to walk through the nursery and talk to our knowledgeable staff about choices that are best for you. We will not sell anything that we would not use in our own gardens. We proudly offer many effective, non-toxic alternatives to harmful chemical pesticides and fertilizers.
