As a licensed irrigation contracting company*, we provide irrigation system design, installation, management, adjustments, and repairs. We are experienced in systems with anywhere from a few zones to those with several hundred. Our professionals, including certified backflow inspectors, are well-trained in diagnosing and repairing some of the most technical irrigation systems and problems.

Our experience in designing, managing, and repairing low-voltage lighting systems includes everything from older, incandescent-fixture systems to newer, state-of-the-art systems that use LED fixtures. In the last several years, substantial improvements have been made to LED lighting systems and the quality of light that they produce.

This hardscape installation commemorates the careers of attorneys, judges, and other baristers. Designed by Reynold and Jewell. As the general contractor, we took designs for this hardscape and made the project vision come to life. We are working with local municipalities to maintain and repair their storm water devices. Our services include bio-retention renovation, sand filters, wetlands design and construction, vegetation management, sediment removal and replacement, remediation, and maintenance.

Hardscape projects can be extensive and costly. In fact, in the State of North Carolina, any hardscape project greater than $30,000 must be performed by a licensed general contractor. Few landscaping companies have the legal ability to work on large hardscape projects. However, our subsidiary company, BLC Construction, LLC is an unlimited, unclassified licensed North Carolina general contracting company. This means we provide hardscape design and installation for all projects-regardless of the cost or size.

While we do not have electricians on staff, we can design, install, manage, and repair low-voltage landscape lighting systems. From older, existing systems to newer, state-of-the-art systems, we install both traditional incandescent and LED fixtures. We encourage customers to use LED systems-whose warmth and quality of light has greatly improved in recent years-because of reliability, energy efficiency, lifecycle longevity, and cost-savings. When it comes to the lifecycle cost of a lighting system, LEDs are by far the smartest investment.

We offer commercial landscape design for projects from new construction to renovating existing landscapes. We can successfully handle projects of all sizes, and we are experienced in design/build projects in excess of $1 million. While we do not offer standalone landscape design services, we work collaboratively with landscape architects to facilitate the design/build process. As part of this collaboration, we can work with our customers' own landscape architects, or we can recommend one of the many professionals with whom we have long-standing, trusted relationships.
