Indian Run Landscaping is a family owned company established in 1990. Randy Hunt had the simple goal of creating beautiful landscapes for clients. Soil tests help to provide a proper course of action for fertilization and liming to establish and maintain your grass. Phosphorus fertilization increases seedling strength and is one factor in reducing invading weeds in newly established lawns.

We can handle any project from creating new landscape beds with plantings, to filling in existing ones. Our new landscape installation process usually starts with edging the landscape bed with a machine edger to give it a clean look and to keep weeds and grass from growing into the bed as quickly. We then cover the bed with professional grade weed barrier fabric.

With highly advanced computer software programs we can bring your dream to a visual reality! Our design process starts with a meeting with our client where we discuss their wants and needs for their landscaping. Our designer will also take detailed notes, measurements and pictures to use with one of our highly advanced computer programs to construct your ideas into a visual picture.

Usually the largest investment in your landscaping; our patios and hardscapes are built to the highest manufactures standards to ensure your patio will last for years and our long list of happy customers is the testament of our exceptional work. Each patio we build begins with a personal meeting to discuss our customer's individual desires. Our design service can create a computer animated design of your dream patio, giving you the ability to see it from all perspectives before any work begins on your property.

We recommend adding premium mulch to your landscape beds each spring as it breaks down nicely for compost and is healthier for the plants. It also helps to freshen up the look of your landscaping for the rest of the summer! We can also install dyed mulch if it is preferred. For spring mulching we typically put down 1 inch of mulch and taper it away from plant trunks, so it does not build up and injure the plant. The mulch is also tapered to the bed edge so the edge looks clean and crisp. When installing new landscape beds we typically apply 3 inches of new mulch to keep moisture in to help the newly planted landscape.
