North Greece Landscape is proud to follow ICPI (Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute) specifications in the installation of your project. We would like you to be informed of what should be done for the longevity of your project. Excavated area will be a minimum 6 wider than the actual paved area. The extra width will help ensure stability of the base at the edges, and provide space for required edge restraint. After excavation we recommend a woven Geo-Textile fabric over clays or silts. The fabric separates fines in soils from the base and prevents them from migrating upward into the base.
