A version of the Natural Brown cedar with a good dose of red dye. The red cedar is a good choice for commercial properties or home landscapes that need a little pizazz. A better quality than dyed red wood chips, this blend is a perennial favorite. Our premium grade of mulch has hemlock bark which holds its color and is quite aromatic. There is some degree of color enhancement which helps the Hemlock mulch keep a reddish-brown coloring for a long while. Our Ultra Brown mulch comes from recycled, natural wood products (NOT pallets, or scrap lumber).

As an authorized distributor for Nicolock, our product lines include paving stones, patio stones, retaining wall systems, and an assortment of installation product accessories. With the largest selection of products in the industry, all manufactured Nicolock products come with limited lifetime warranty. We carry Nicolock products due to the outstanding durability and performance when installed as intended on walkways, patios, and pool decks.

You can choose between a higher and lower rate of Prodiamine. Lower Nitrogen means less top growth, and maybe a little less mowing. Less Prodiamine means you can split your step 1 applications over 6 weeks for longer control. The higher rate of Prodiamine can be used if you would like to make only 1 initial treatment to the lawn where crabgrass isn't a big problem. At the core of any fertilizer program is soil testing. Soundview always recommends visiting the CT Agricultural Experiment Station with soil samples in order to assess you specific lawn or landscape conditions.
