For your convenience, we offer a variety of exterminating services. Our quarterly service is perfect for our working and traveling customers and consists of exterior treatments, plus interior treatments provided upon request. We also offer annual, monthly or one-time treatments. Convenient, personalized service is our priority when it comes to controlling pests in your home. Our service technicians receive continual training under the direction of our graduate entomologists. They are taught pest control methods involving IPM, which stands for Integrated Pest Management.

Dempsey Sapp, Sr., founded Florida Pest Control & Chemical Co. on September 5, 1949. Mr. Sapp opened the first office in Gainesville, FL, which included a retail garden store, and offered many items including garden supplies, pets, and pest management services. Times have changed and while our office locations no longer contain garden stores we still offer premium pest management services, including a "Green" pest management program. Today, Florida Pest Control has 20 office locations, including our corporate offices in Gainesville, FL.

We provide structural fumigations to eliminate Drywood termites, Powderpost beetles, Old House borers and other pests. This process generally involves completely enclosing and sealing the structure with a nylon fumigation tent and maintaining a lethal concentration of the selected fumigant gas during the exposure period. All of our fumigations are performed by State Certified Pest Control Operators knowledgeable in the category of fumigation. In addition, we offer fumigations to eliminate pests in furniture, wood and other items where fumigation of the entire structure is not necessary.
