The United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States, Canada (UA), affiliated with the national building trades, represents approximately 355,000 plumbers, pipefitters, sprinkler fitters, service technicians and welders in local unions across North America. We also honor a federation agreement with both the Australian Plumbing Trades Employees Union (PTEU) and Irish Technical, Engineering Electrical Union (TEEU). The UA has been training qualified pipe tradesmen and women longer than anyone else in the industry.
Skilled and certified professionals in the field of plumbing are necessary to keep our buildings and homes functioning as they should. Certified plumbers can find work as commercial plumbers trained to service large and complex plumbing systems or as residential plumbers focused on new construction or maintenance and repair to existing systems.
Careers in the welding industry are among some of the most in-demand jobs in the nation. As projects in the fields of manufacturing, oil and natural gas require more manpower, there's an increased need for men and women who are skilled in the trade and looking for different opportunities. Welding professionals have a variety of career options dependent on specialized skills and certifications. The training you gain through an apprenticeship with UA 430 will help prepare you for all future opportunities.
If you're looking for the next logical step after attaining your high school diploma, look no further. For comprehensive apprenticeship training, UA 430 offers hands-on, on-site experience designed to prepare you for a long, successful career as an HVAC technician. Start earning right way with on-site experience during the day and continue your education with flexible nighttime classes. The HVAC apprenticeship training program will give you the tools necessary to succeed in a diverse range of roles.
Good afternoon, due to rising numbers in Covid 19 we have decided to delay the restart of classes until January 18, 2021. We will have to tack on time at the end but if everyone will follow protocols we should be able to reopen. Have a safe holiday and see you in January.
