Rackliffe Lock & Safe experts work hard to be the best CT locksmith serving the Connecticut Shoreline. Rackliffe Lock & Safe was founded in 1974. We are dedicated to providing you with the best and most complete locksmith services on the shoreline. In 1974 the family's locksmith business B. D. Rackliffe, Inc. which closed due to Russ's grandfather's death, moved from Springfield Massachusetts to Westbrook Connecticut. With that equipment and help from Russ's great uncle Robert Rackliffe, also a locksmith in Springfield, the business started anew here on the shoreline.
Thank you Rick & Ryan for your speedy turn around and professionalism. I greatly appreciate it!
Rick must have helicopter blades attached to his red van because he shows up within minutes sometimes. Very professional. Uses parts that last. And 30 years of knowledge in his head. He's really the best.
Installed incorrect size lockset, even after I sent him pictures of my existing lock. Couldn't close the door without your hand getting caught between doorknob and door jamb. I informed him of the problem and his response was " it was the smallest Lockset I had on the truck" a professional would have ordered the correct one and just come back at a later time. I was told he would order the correct lockset and come back to change. Set up numerous appoints, never showed up. I even left the door unlocked so he could stop by when he was in the area. Last straw was, told me he would do it this previous Monday or Tuesday, .NO SHOW, didn't even have the courtesy to call. I have since had a professional out who did it right. Here's a health and safety tip for anyone who has Electronic keypad locks with multiple users. Most electronic safe lock manufacturers are recommending a damp (not wet) alcohol pad or paper towel to be used to lightly wipe the keypad. Just pay attention to not use them near electrical connectors like audit trail ports or Dallas
