Texas Roofing Company, a Texas corporation, was founded by L. R. (Randolph) Rampy, Sr. in Lubbock, Texas, in 1935. Subsequently Randolph, with his brother, L. W. (Woodrow) Rampy, opened several other roofing companies throughout the West Texas and New Mexico areas. These included Texas Roofing Company of Odessa & Frontier Roofing Company of El Paso and of Albuquerque and Hobbs, New Mexico. This history gives an idea how long Texas Roofing has been roofing contractors. Sixty years later, the legacy continued when Texas Roofing Company of Austin, Inc. was founded in Austin, Texas by Rick Birkman, the grandson of L. R. Rampy, Sr. From our modest beginning to the present day, the Texas Roofing Company goal has always been to provide its customers with the best roof possible.
Texas Roofing Company is an approved applicator for all major modified bitumen and built-up roofing system manufacturers. We have skilled technicians and journeymen experienced in hot-mop systems, cold applied systems and torching. Our in-house sheet metal shop is fully equipped and staffed by trained professionals to provide our customers the added dimension of specialty sheet metal shop capabilities. From industrial siding to commercial grade architectural standing seam metal roofing requiring shop-fabricated custom trim & terminations, our trained sheet metal mechanics utilize state of the art equipment and the latest technology available.
