We install asphalt roofing, vinyl siding, soffit, trim, & attic insulation. We specialize in the ventilation of attics, making sure that your unique attic is effectively vented. Kovalick Roofing & Siding Company was started in 2004. We are a family business and we do our own work. We do not subcontract! We know that subcontractors ("factory trained crews") do not care about our reputation as much as we do. We install asphalt and metal roofing, vinyl siding, soffit, and aluminum trim. We specialize in the ventilation of attics, making sure that your unique attic is efficiently ventilated. We like to install complete roofing systems. This includes high quality roofing materials, efficient ventilation, attic baffles, and insulation.
Like our name implies, Kovalick Roofing & Siding is a specialty company. Although we do a few things besides roofing and siding, we do not claim to be Kovalick Construction, or a general contractor. As roofing & siding specialists, we really know these two vocations. Kovalick Roofing & Siding Company is licensed as a residential builder with the state of Michigan, as opposed to having a maintenance & alterations license that limits our operations to a listed sector, and this does give us the flexibility to be able to do whatever you need us to, related to your roof replacement.
I started Kovalick Roofing & Siding in 2004. It was originally named Olympus Roofing, Inc. because I have a passion for the Olympic games. I tried to call it Olympic Roofing, but the state of Michigan wouldn't let me, so I came up with what I thought was the next best name. After a few years I realized that the name didn't fit. I am proud of the work that we do and thought it only fitting to put my name on the company as well.
The cost of our repair services consists of a $57.00 service call and $90.00 per hour labor, plus materials. Our repair services include removing ice dams. If your roof is leaking in the winter, even when it is not raining, you have an ice dam that is forcing the water (from melting snow) under your shingles. There is nothing wrong with your roof or its installation. The snow has piled up on the roof edge and is not letting the water drain off. The only way to fix this at this point is to remove the ice dam.
