In 1963, Rigidply Rafters, Inc. started manufacturing engineered, metal-plated wood trusses for roof and floor applications. Building on Rigidply's reputation for outstanding quality and service, our first crane truck was put into service in 1964. Trusses could then be lifted directly from our truck to the roof or floor system. Rigidply's unmatched quality, people and service continue today as Rigidply remains the premier truss supplier in the Northeast.
Rigidply can supply a shingle roof for your building project. Our typical suppliers are GAF and Owings Corning who provide products ranging from Lifetime Limited Warranty dimensional shingles (GAF Shingles) to 25 year 3 tab shingles (Owings Corning Shingles). Specify a shingle type and we can include all the roofing products needed for your project in the building package quote. If trying to match an existing residence/building, provide the manufacturer's name, shingle type and color. We will check with our suppliers on availability to accommodate your request.
Entry Doors provide an attractive way for you to move into and out of your building without operating overhead or sliding doors. Commercial-rated doors also provide security for occasionally-occupied buildings and, where required, emergency exits. A variety of sizes, panel designs, colors, window options, and entrance and exit hardware are available to meet the functional and architectural requirements of your structure. Baked-on finish available in 4 colors. Available with cross-buck design, insulated window with or without grids, and six-panel design.
Rigidply Rafters can provide board & batten siding for your building project. The siding is Standard Grade, kiln-dried (KD), Eastern White Pine - surfaced one side and both edges (S1S2E) with the one rough side as the exposed face of the siding. Eastern White Pine siding is a fine grain wood species that holds its shape and retains finishes extremely well. This product has been used for construction and fine woodworking for centuries. The siding as provided by Rigidply Rafters is Standard Grade with visible, but tight knots, and is shipped unfinished.
Accent your project with a Grandrib 3 Plus Steel Wainscot around the perimeter of your building. Top siding panels to be divided from wainscot panels with steel "Z" trim.
Windows sized and designed to complement your building also provide sources of light and ventilation. Selected for appearance and function, windows must be compatible with your siding and other building design features. Horizontal sliders, single hung, and fixed lite windows with or without grids, in a variety of sizes are possible in both vinyl and aluminum framed windows. Large interior fixed lite glass or Lexan windows can provide outstanding visibility and separation for room-to-room viewing and light transmission.
