We offer ground up services in Residential, Commercial, and Industrial Construction. We also offer a Commercial Roofing Division. We are certified Installers with Firestone and can offer 10 to 30 year warranties from all major roofing suppliers.

Using a builder that is experienced in obtaining green building materials and employing green building practices is critical. If you want to ensure that your finished dwelling will (1) use less energy to heat and cool and (2) improve the quality of your indoor air, you should consult with a green builder. Green construction also improves the "life-cycle cost" of a material. Life-cycle cost is determined by considering the initial cost combined with the cost of replacing that material if it wears out.

We offer also a Commercial Roofing Division. Our Vice President / Project Manager Mark McCuiston is a second-generation roofing contractor and brings with him 35 years of roofing experience. He has a vast amount of knowledge in all roofing applications including, but not limited to, BUILD-UP, SINGLE PLY (EPDM), MODIFIED, THERMAL PLASTIC, STANDING SEAM METAL, LIVE/GREEN ROOF SYSTEMS and the latest up to date MAINTENANCE / ROOFING REPAIR TECHNICS. We are also certified installers with Firestone Building Products Company as well as others.

With locations in Wilmington, Hampstead and Rockingham, North Carolina (NC), Dunn Builders, Inc. has the expertise to provide construction services for new mall construction, renovations and additions as well as department stores, big box retailers, tenant up fits and drug stores. Depending on the size of the construction project, Dunn Builders will accept projects throughout most of the Southeast. Our invention (Patent Pending) addresses the need for a more economical method of repairing and retrofitting damaged air vents. Air vents that provide air circulation in crawl spaces, between rooms, and between subfloors and drop ceilings, or that cover fans, etc. tend to decay and disintegrate with age, particularly when made with thin gauge screen wire. If the vent is fabricated from cast iron, it may become brittle with age and break. As a result, animals, such as bats, lizards, fowl and rodents, may get into the vented space.
