We install both natural and synthetic slate roofs. Synthetic slates are made to look like real slate and are manufactured using metal, rubber, plastics & other products. If weight or cost is an issue synthetic slate might be the way to go. We buy our organic slate from the various slate producers in Vermont who produce the slate from there quarries in Vermont. Natural slate will last a lot longer than the synthetic slates but the cost can be a lot higher. Also weight has to be taken into consideration when installing the natural slate.
Shingle roofing is the most economical choice for most steep slope applications. Fiberglass and Organic shingles are the two types of shingles with Fiberglass shingles being the cheaper of the two and more popular. Prime installs all the major shingle brands. We are a SELECT ShingleMasters with CertainTeed and can offer CertainTeed SureStart Plus extended warranties.
Prime will come out onsite and perform a free evaluation of your roof. We will provide you with a photo report along with our recommendation on what needs to be done to your roof whether it needs a full roof replacement or just misc repairs. Inspections can be set up for once or twice a year where a visual inspection is done.
Metal roofs are durable, fire retardant and maintenance free. Whether it be onsite roll formed standing seam panels rolled with our New Tech roll forming machine or if factory roll formed panels are required we can meet your spec. Metal roofing is a great alternate to shingle roofs due to its longevity. Our in house sheet metal fabrication shop can fabricate all the necessary flashings and trims for the complete roof system to match each individual job-site condition. Prime currently buys metal from the top manufacturers on the market today and can also provide weather tightness warranties from a couple of the manufacturers.
