Since 1957, Poellinger Inc. has been providing the commercial construction and residential construction industry in the La Crosse, Wisconsin area and upper Midwest with skilled craftsmen, high quality materials, eco-friendly building products and practices, and superior customer service. Poellinger Inc.'s involvement with the building, remodeling and repair of religious facilities began in 1962, when John A. Poellinger was one of few local contractors to build the St. Joseph the Workman Cathedral.

Family owned and operated for over 60 years. Established as a plastering company in 1957 by John A. Poellinger, the company incorporated in the state of Wisconsin as a union trade contractor in 1966. In 1986, John's son Mike Poellinger joined the firm as a project manager and became actively involved in the direction of the company. In 1989, Mike was named General Manager. When John A. Poellinger announced his retirement in 1996, Mike Poellinger became President of the company. In 1999, Mike purchased Poellinger Inc. and he is currently the owner and president of the company.
