You can see any complaints on the license and how long the person has been licensed. I believe that any company that has been in business 10 years or more has more credibility than a company that has not been in business that long. So you have determined you are dealing with a licensed electrician, electrical contractor, electrical company. Looking at electrician on the BBB gives you information such as: How long it has been in business, whether the electrical contractor is BBB accredited, what the electrical contractor's rating is.
I had Montgomery Electrical take out the fuse boxes in my home and put in new circuit breakers. Charles is a master at his craft and when dealing with electrical you always want to walk away from this with piece of mind that this job is per code, safe and reliable. And that's just what Charles does.
Our new blog “When to Upgrade an Electrical Panel Part 1” is posted on our website. If you are thinking of having an electrician upgrading your electrical panel, check it out.
Soon I will be posting a blog on “When to Upgrade Electrical Panel.” Stay tuned. Charles
Just to remind everyone, always when changing out or upgrading your electrical panel make sure whoever does it pulls a permit and gets it inspected. Many times we have been called in as there is a non standard element to a panel and we find it was never permitted. Just had one of those today and also you know before you buy a house you can always look at the property card and see if work was permitted and or inspected. Chris
