I used A-1 Septic in Modesto to repair my home's septic system. My home is in escrow and the relator sent over a technician from another company who told me he felt both the tank and the leach line system needed to be replaced, and then handed me a proposal asking me to pay his company $42,500 to hook up to the city sewer line in the street. I called A-1 Septic who sent an inspector. He said both my tank and the leach line system passed inspection, except for $1400 in minor repairs, which were later performed. I now anticipate receiving a completely passed inspection document from A-1 Septic. They were professional, communicated well, and I recommend them.

We will definitely use A-1 septic for any future septic system needs. They were the best price and were actually early to the appointment (with my permission) normally places give you a time frame of 12-4 and show up at 4, not this company. I am super happy with their service and their technicians were very nice.

I've been a customer of A-1 Septic Service for approximately 5 years. I was extremely pleased with the prior owners, but even more pleased with the current owner, Daniel Antonov. His genuine concern for the customer(s) is evident in the exceptional, prompt service he provides and the staff he has working for him! His staff are also nothing short of amazing! My initial call was received by Janessa, in the office, who was very polite and happy to schedule an appointment. When it came time for my appointment, I received a courtesy call from Phillip stating he would arrive shortly. He was on time and early, which I appreciated! Phillip was very courteous, professional and helpful! He answered my many questions and provided information on how to properly maintain my systems in the future. He was very conscientious and went out of his way to ensure the area in which he was working was exactly as it was prior to the service. The service rates charged were more than reasonable and there were no hidden fees. The entire experience, from the customer service I received to the actual service of my septic systems and fees charged, was exceptional! I feel fortunate to have found A-1 Septic Service for my septic system needs and will continue to call upon them in the future! I will definitely refer my family and friends. We have been using A1 septic for many years and our experience has always been a pleasant one. The new owner took the time to answer my questions and actually explain what was going on in my aged septic
system. NOTE TO SELF: BABY WIPES ARE NOT SEPTIC SAFE!!!!!!! All work was completed just as promised and workers respected my Covid fears by wearing PPE'S I received 4 quotes from other Plumbing companies however A1 septic was the only one who came out immediately. VERY REASONABLY priced $$
They made me feel like they genuinely appreciated my business. I'm sure I will be using A1 for many years to come. They are the BESTEST!!!!!

I called the day before that I needed a septic cleanout. They gave me an appointment the next day, with a time window in the morning. They called me before they came, arrived very promptly, cleaned out my septic tank, and were very professional and polite. Thank you, A1 Septic for being there when I needed you, and I would refer them to all my family and friends as being a very good service.

Don't hire these crooks! We used this company ten years ago, so we called them when we needed service again recently. We're in a remote area, so we didn't balk too much when they quoted $850 for the service. We called on a Friday with an emergency, but they couldn't fit us in until the following week, so we muddled through over the weekend. Just hours before they were supposed to arrive, they jacked up the price to $1400! We found another company in Patterson (Salinas Portables) who came out and did the job for $500, and were very conscientious and professional.
