When this material is used under the ground, it will be very nice material but if it is above the ground, there are lots of possibilities of broken the pipe because of vibration. This picture is showing the repaired part near the meter due to the vibration. This picture is showing the disconnected pipes and reconnected pipes installed in the house. Since this pipe is a kind of plastic, it is very easy to be broken at hot water line. However, this pipe is much cheaper in installation. Most of water pressure issues come from old water line and you can solve it by repiping the water line.

Many homemakers are enjoying the use of the garbage disposal and they believe the garbage disposal will grind everything. But it does not work with sticky foods like spaghetti, noodles and wet potato or carrot peels. The principal of the garbage disposal is a centrifugal force. When it is operated, food debris will be mixed by the turning can in the disposal and grinded by the bottom blades but if you put a sticky food like spaghetti, peels of potato or carrot, etc. it will be attached on the wall of the can and not drop, thus not getting cut by the blades.

When your toilet and tub are both backed up, your main sewer line could be clogged like the left side picture. You can determine this situation by checking your clean out in front of your house. If your clean out is backing up, you need to clean your main sewer line. When your main drain backs up, first sign of back up comes from the toilet and bath tub/or shower because these fixtures are the lower parts of the house. As you see in the picture, sinks do not back up because they are higher but sink sewage can backs up the tub or toilet.

It's advisable to clean the water heater at least once a year to prevent sediment build-up. Otherwise, minerals will make it difficult for the burner to heat the water, worse, potentially clog the pipes. Spring is the best season to clean the water heater. Though you may have drained all of the water, lots of sediment should still remain in the tank. Then you need to reconnect the water line and open the shut off valve of the water heater. The water will drop from the top of the tank to the bottom of it.

One major reason for sewer line clogging are tree roots. If tree roots grow too much, it will combine with the dirt then puncture the pipe and you will not be able to clean it with the snake machine so it would have to be repaired or re-piped. Second reason of repairing the main drain line is corrosion. P trap is a very important drain system. The water in the P trap prevents sewage gas smell. But the trap arm is very important to keep the water in the P trap. If the trap arm (refer to the drawing) has a slope, all the water in the P trap will drain due to the siphoning.
