In 1978, the first iteration of Starving Plumbers was founded as Economy Plumbing. From Day-1 we always wanted to highlight value as the most important benefit for customers. But for whatever reasons, Economy Plumbing never became the household name we had dreamed about. So after a comprehensive, thought-provoking, creatively-intense brainstorming session, we came up with Starving Plumbers, and the name clicked. We moved to our former location in Larkspur Landing in 1985 and stayed there until 2015 when we then migrated northward to our current Terra Linda location.
