In January 1964 Jack Crum joined his brother Bob at Keith Riggs Plumbing in Mesa, Arizona. Bob Crum left Keith Riggs Plumbing and began his own company in May 1970. In 1971, Jack was given an offer he couldn't refuse as a builder set him up to do the builders' plumbing and Sunset Plumbing was born. In April 1976 Bob and Jack merged their two companies and Bob Crum Plumbing was born. In August 1979 Bob Crum Plumbing was Incorporated with Bob as President and Jack as Vice President, Barbara (Bob's wife) as Secretary and Scarlett (Jack's wife) as Treasurer.
